BRESLER’S - BUSINESS ICE CREAM and YOGURT FRANCHISE

The Bresler’s business consists primarily of the franchising and licensing of Bresler’s outlets in the U.S. and internationally. In the U.S., the company sells franchises for Bresler’s store and kiosks and licenses various operators, including discount stores, fast food restaurants, public stadiums and similar businesses to operate smaller non-traditional locations that serve Bresler’s ice cream and frozen yogurt. Internationally, the company sells master franchises for specific countries or regions to master franchisees who in turn franchise and licence Bresler’s outlets in those countries or regions. There are currently Bresler’s master franchises covering 17 countries.

The Bresler’s chain is an established U.S. chain of ice cream and frozen yogurt outlets with international operations. As of March 31, 1996, there were 402 franchised and licensed outlets in the U.S. as well as 22 franchised outlets in 16 other countries. In addition, Larry’s Industries, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bresler’s, franchises Larry’s Ice Cream & Yogurt Parlours, a chain with 14 franchised outlets primarily in Florida.

Bresler’s flavour profile reflects a broad spectrum of consumer preferences and an extremely competitive variety of products to meet virtually any demographic customer profile or targeted customer appeal for any location or menu style. Bresler’s offers an outstanding list of flavours and it ranks competitively or better than most premium and super premium branded retail concepts. The products served by Bresler’s stores include premium ice cream, frozen yogurts, sherbets, sorbets and ices. The standard menu included hand-packed and dipped ice cream, soda fountain products, ice cream specialty items, yogurt products and non-alcoholic beverages. Some of the most popular flavours include: Vanilla, Cookie Dough, Chocolate Chip, Rum Raisin, Prailines n’ Cream, Mango Ice, Strawberry, Chocolate, Praline Pecan, Coffee, Superman, Rocky Road, Maple Nut, Black Cherry, Mint Chocolate Chip, Heavenly Hash, Peanut Butter Fudge, Fudge Brownie, Death By Chocolate, Bubble Gum, Peppermint Candy. The ice cream and frozen yogurt served by Bresler’s stores is manufactured for the company by manufacturers in the U.S. and Mexico.

The Bresler’s concept can be implemented in a variety of different formats: smaller non-traditional outlets located as part of other larger establishments, small kiosks and in-line and traditional stores. The cost of construction of a new Bresler’s shop varies depending upon its size and level of leasehold improvement allowances received. The estimated required investment for a typical franchisee of a Bresler’s traditional store is $180,000U.S., including franchise fees.

Since 1992, all new and remodelled Bresler’s outlets have the distinctive white, teal and magenta Bresler’s design. Locations in the U.S. are concentrated primarily in regional and metropolitan area malls, high traffic tourist areas, strip malls and metropolitan downtown areas. Internationally, locations consist primarily of office buildings, shopping malls, and free-standing locations in high traffic areas. Shop sizes vary from 60 square feet for non-traditional locations such as complementary fast food locations, 200 square feet for kiosks, and from 400 to 1,000 square feet for traditional stores. Traditional stores are franchised and carry a full range of Bresler’s menu items while non-traditional locations are generally licensed to institutional fast food and other retail chains and offer a more limited range of menu items. In addition, a variety of merchandising systems have been designed to accommodate the widest possible range of selling environments and locations. All systems are low maintenance and durable, while providing ample storage capacity. Some of the systems available are: carts, Bresler’s Grab N’ Go and Counter Top Freezers. Regardless of which design you choose, your Bresler’s merchandising system will increase customer quality perception and your frozen yogurt sales.

The company’s Bresler’s related activities include the sourcing and sale of ice cream, frozen yogurt and other products and equipment used by Bresler’s outlets world-wide, the provision of services in connection with Bresler’s outlet design, layout and construction, franchise training and support services, marketing, advertising and research and development activities.

INDEPENDENT BUSINESS BUILDING TIPS

Establishing "Business Self" is not easy. those who fail to establish independent businesses far more when compared to successful people. The most important factor in the start it is the knowledge, experience and network.

about knowledge of business knowledge is very important. for example if there are people who open a small business. if not considered carefully on capital, expenses, income, transport etc., it could have a big wedge of the pole. business could be destroyed on the spot. but different if that person has knowledge that qualified. even small businesses can grow into a large independent business.

Experience factor is also very important in trying to build an independent business. because according to the proverb, the experience is a valuable teacher. experience of this effort can be obtained by trying to start a business. do not be afraid to fail, because failure we are experiencing can bear fruit sweet a valuable experience. so that we can avoid the causes of the failure in the future.

Business or business network is important too. as we all know, humans are social creatures. meaning of each other need each other. by having a good business network and wide, it is expected that we could build an independent business.

effort that began today could become a business empire in the future. do not be afraid of failure. because failure will give us an experience. no successful people in this world that never fails. good luck.
